Ahhhh.. knowing how to make collages save my day of uploading tonnes of photos online!

Reub and I brought the girls out for lunch and ice cream as a birthday treat for Simren on Tuesday. I love their chocolate malt ice cream! We hang around United Square, went for a carwash and sent Kanchen for tuition thereafter.

Gekster treated us to BaliThai last Sunday as a very belated birthday treat. It was great catching up with her at Novena station while we waited for the others to arrive. I think we share quite a lot of common ideas and interest esp gossiping. HAHAHA! She's such a wonderful friend and we could just hit it off so well even though we don't really talk to each other that often. She's a funny bunny and she has such cute antics. So AUNTY. We got her $80 worth of vouchers from Robinson's and Dorothy Perkins, upon her request. We got Rong a $50 voucher from World of Sport too as her belated pressie. We all talked about our plans upon graduation, and it is really scary how soon that will be (though I still have 1 whole year to go -,-). Za put on braces! And I swear she lost more weight and just yesterday she told me she's friggin 39kg now. By the by, she is taller than me and I am 46kg! Thanks to my mom, I've put on 5-6kg since I came back from the hospital hahaha.

Then I met my 2 fave friends in SAJC last... Thurs? Haha damn I can't remember already. We got each other our 21st pressies! Xiaoling got a nice big white bag, Xiaohui got a nice black skirt and a winter hat (she's in Korea now) and I got a nice handbag from Espirit! Yipeeeee. And I realised we're always taking pictures with Xmas trees. 2 years ago we were at Bugis and we took one with the Xmas tree there too haha. Don't believe me? Here's the proof:

It's a Swarovski Xmas tree okay. Hahaha.

FYP is so sickening. Anybody who knows how to use SAS please help me!

Because I was just finding a reason to blog (other than uploading pics), here's some things about me that you guys might not know. Or maybe you've already known haha (was tagged by zw to do it). Whatever the soon-to-become birthday girl says!

1. I am damn super emotional and sensitive.

2. Somehow, I'm glad I fell very ill because if not, I wouldn't have felt so loved by so many people.

6. I fart, dig my nose and do all things disgusting in front of Reuben.

7. I tend to be insecure at times and really dependent on others.

Haven't been updating my blog cuz (1)I'm simply too lazy and (2)I'm simply too busy. More of the latter. Have been busy going out (ha) and doing my fyp. Attended my first ever fyp meeting today with my mates ever since I got discharged from hospital. I was happy to finally join in the discussion with our prof. They proceeded to the library to download some data after the meeting and I think it was pre-arranged or something cuz I wasn't informed. I had something on so I had to leave earlier after the meeting. I felt so bad cuz I don't want them to think I'm a freeloader but then sometimes I felt ostracized by them. Don't get me wrong; they're really nice people though. Just hope they can make me feel more included in the group and keep me updated about whatever's ongoing. Like it seem that only both of them know what's going on. Maybe I have been missing for most part of the project?

Anyway Claire's leaving for UK tomorrow :( I'm gonna miss her a lot. I got her address in Leeds so hopefully I'll remember to send her a present every year for her birthday haha. She's been the sweetest person I've ever met at work- sincere, genuine and warm. On my last day of work, which also happened to be my 21st, she got me a Fossil wallet (which I mentioned was very pretty when we went shopping one day during working hours ha) and a Bangkok guide book cuz she knew I was jetting off for Bkk few days later. She was so worried about me when I was admitted that she got my ex-colleagues to write get-well-soon cards, send a huge vase of flowers (which I don't remember seeing them) and they also got me this really cute crossbreed softtoy which I named as Puggy! She's really so sweet. I told her to invite me to her wedding if she and Phil are getting hitched haha.


Reub and me were just chatting casually in the car today on our way back from his house (we were watching Heroes S3!). We realised that some people are not what they seem and the more they seem to be nice and sweet, the more we must be wary of them. Maybe it's like a self defense mechanism thing for them to act in a certain way. Anyhow, I always agree with the old adage that one should never judge a book by its cover. Oh well, maybe people would feel the same way about me too. But I know the best myself- I'm always sincere when I treat the people around me. I won't be a bitch if you don't bitch about me.

I'm actually referring to 2 cases here.

Anyway I really don't understand why people have to judge us. So what if we're an interracial couple? So what if my boyfriend is an Indian? Friends have always poked fun at me about it but I know who's being serious, who's just being goofy. I don't see why we won't last just because we're of a different race. Haven't you heard opposites attract? I don't care as long as we're happy. So yeah, even though I still don't understand what give you the right to judge, go ahead; because one day, I will have the last laugh.
